Head Deaconess – Carol Laues

The deaconess board is responsible for taking care of the needs of the members of the church by making calls and visits to the sick and shut in. The deaconess are to assist at funerals as well as prepare and serve meals for funerals. The deaconess prepares the robes for all who are participating, assist female candidates, launder and store robes, towels and etc., after the ceremony. They're also responsible for the set-up and preparation of communion by the placing of towels, basins and water, preparing the bread and grape juice, arranging the emblems and coverings on the table. They also clean and store the linens and serving pieces used in communion. The deaconesses are on duty each Sabbath. Listed below are the members of the four bands of deaconess who serve.
